Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington girls volleyball team trailed 2 sets to 1 and were trailing 6-0 in the fourth set before turning the tables on the Tommies. The Cards would outscore the Tommies 25-10 to win the fourth set 25-16 and cruised to a 15-7 fifth set win to capture the 3-2 victory.
Madison Johnson paced the Cards with 15 kills, Isabel Wendel added 12 kills, and Edyn Hoornaert added 10 kills. The Tommies were paced by Brenna Martin with a match high 24 kills. Thompson falls to 1-1 on the season and Carrington improved to 2-0. The Cards will host E-K-M in a district 5 match next Thursday night.
