MINOT, N.D. (NDHP) – A Minot woman died from injuries suffer in a two vehicle crash on Highway 83 about 15 miles south of Minot on Tuesday, August 22nd.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said A 2010 Chevy Silverado was southbound on Highway 83 approaching the intersection with Highway 23. A 2017 Toyota Yaris was attempting to cross Highway 83 from west to east. The front of the Chevy Silverado struck the driver side of the Toyota Yaris. Both vehicles came to rest in the median.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris, 59-year-old Priscilla Davila of Minot was pronounced deceased on scene. The passenger of the Toyota Yaris, 24-year-old Nyasunday Puoch of Omaha, Nebraska sustained serious injuries and was transported to Trinity in Minot by ambulance. The driver of the Chevy Silverado, 24-year-old Casey Mack of Mandan was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
