VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the first time in decades, the Valley City Public School District enrollment will drop below 1,000 students when the new school year begins.

Superintendent Josh Johnson says with fewer students, the school district would have the option to re-classify their sports activities.

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 23rd.
