VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The VC Tennis Association welcomed 59 youth tennis players in their Junior Team Tennis summer program. This USTA youth co-ed program focuses on team competition, incorporating
singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches. Area boys and girls, ages 9-18 participated in weekly drills and match play during June and July. Players were divided into several age divisions: 12U, 14U and 18U.
The Valley City 12U team competed in Fargo on 7/12/23 at the JTT Jamboree against the Fargo 12U team with continuous match play. Due to scheduling conflicts, no VC teams were able to compete in Fargo or at Sectional Championships held in MN at the end of July.
