Cleveland, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Medina woman is dead after her pickup crashed into a large slough in Stutsman County.
The accident was reported just after 3 pm on Thursday afternoon.
According to the ND Highway Patrol, the Stutsman County Dive Rescue Team was able to find the vehicle in the slough about 6 miles south of Cleveland. They were able to retrieve the woman from the submerged pickup. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
State Patrol was assisted by Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Medina Fire Department, Gackle Ambulance, Cleveland Fire Department, and the Stutsman County Dive Rescue Team.
The accident remains under investigation.
