CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day four of the 2023 North Dakota State Class B Legion Baseball tourney was held on Saturday with two games, here are the results:

Lamoure 10 Langdon 1 (elimination game)

Lamoure Post 19 jumped out early, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning and the cruise to the 10 run victory, Langdon finishes their season in third place at the state tourney and 19-7 overall.

Thompson 4 Lamoure 2 (championship)

Thompson Post 181 goes 4-0 in the state tourney and they win the state title for the first time since 2019, knocking off the three time defending state champs. Lamoure scored the first two runs in the top of the first, they would be held scoreless the rest of the game. Reece Berberich picks up the victory, working four and a third, Brody Gibson worked the last two and two-thirds. Anthony Hanson takes the loss, working six innings. Brayden Wolfgram was the player of the game, going 2-for-3 at the plate, a single, a double, one RBI and scored twice. Thomas Schumacher was named the tourney MVP, going 9-for-13 at the plate for the tournament. Thompson finishes at 28-6 overall, Lamoure finishes at 27-8 overall.
