MAPELTON, N.D. (NDHP) – A Fargo woman seriously injured in a golf cart crash in Mapelton on Saturday, July 15th has died.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a Club Car golf cart driven by 43-year-old Erin Brousseau of Mapleton, ND, was making a left turn onto Sunrise Dr, while making the turn the passenger was ejected from the golf cart.

The passenger a 37-year-old Ashley Tangedal of Fargo suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Sanford AirMed. Tangedal died on July 19th from injuries suffered in the July 15th crash.

The driver, Erin Brousseau is facing Criminal Vehicular Injury charges. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
