LaMoure exploded for six runs in the second inning as they cruised to a 7-2 win yesterday behind a strong outing on the mound by Avery Kramer. The A’s would push one across in the top of the third to cap-off their scoring for the day as Colby and Gunner Theilges both drove runs continuing their strong showing at the state tournament.

The big inning for LaMoure would all start with a botched fielders choice. Indecision on on a play at the plate with runners at the corners with one out allowed the first run of the inning to score before the top of the order would bust the game open with five more runs. The A’s would be kept in check offensively by Andy Pulak who put up three scoreless innings to close the game out for Minto.

Kramer picked up the win as he twirled 4.2 innings of scoreless baseball with six strikeouts before being pulled at 69 pitches for Joey Potts. Potts would record two innings pitched before being pulled in the seventh with close to 40 pitches. Logan Potts would close out the game for LaMoure as he recorded the final out of the game with a strikeout.

The A’s will play the loser of Velva and Park River tomorrow at 10:00am on Q101 with the winner playing again on Sunday at 5:30pm.
