JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It is known as the “premier celebration” of the Buffalo City.

Buffalo Days is an annual, weekend commemoration of Jamestown and its “Buffalo City” nickname extending back to the 1960s. Today, numerous agencies, businesses, and organizations host events and deals to welcome visitors and invite former residents to come back home.

“The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce really enjoys helping organize Buffalo Days,” states Emily Bivens, Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “Whether it’s your first time in Jamestown, you’re visiting family or friends, or even coming home for a family or class reunion, we invite everyone to come to explore our amazing community and take part in this family-friendly celebration of Jamestown.”

Events include a parade, vendor show, concerts, pancake breakfast, golf tournament, cornhole tournament, mud drags, and much more.

According to Bivens, the event could not be possible without the support of sponsors like Applied Digital, Midco, Great River Energy, and Jamestown Parks & Recreation.
