VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Police are seeking your help in identifying the male that was found in the Sheyenne River on Monday afternoon July 17th.

The body was found in the area of 1000 Riverview Drive in Valley City. Valley City Fire Department water rescue recovered the body shortly after noon on Monday.

Police have added some more details to the original description. The male was identified as a white male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, with dark short hair, a beard, approximately 5’8″ to 5’10”, and 200 pounds with no visible tattoos. The male was wearing blue jeans, a black belt, and two white socks, but each sock had a different color band around the top. The male had a reddish tinge of color in the beard and had short, well-groomed hair.
