WISHEK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day four of the 2023 District 6 Southeast conference Babe Ruth Tourney was held Sunday with two more games, here are the results:

LaMoure @ Lisbon (Game 1)

A big second inning proved to be the difference in the game as Colby Theilges blasted a two out grandslam over the left field wall to give LaMoure a 5-0 lead before and Avery Kramer double capped off the scoring in the inning giving the visitors a 6-0 lead. LaMoure would add one in the sixth before Lisbon finally pushed across a run to make it a 7-1 game which would hold until the end.

Lisbon capitalized early with a two run top of the third taking the early lead behind a Gavin Robertson and a Eli Lyons sac-fly. The bats would wake for LaMoure in the bottom of the fifth as they loaded the bases before Avery Kramer was hit-by-a-pitch to push across the first run, then Mason Warcken tied the game with a sac-fly, with the eventual winning run coming in off a wild pitch.

 

LaMoure moves on to the North Dakota State Babe Ruth Tournament.
