STRAUSBURG, N.D. (NDHP) – A South Dakota man died in a rollover southwest of Strausburg in the early morning of Wednesday, July 5th.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said the driver of a 2001 Ford Explorer 56-year-old Kevin Hancock of Pollock, SD and Lafayette, IN was traveling on a gravel road to Pollock, South Dakota. The vehicle crested a hill, at a high rate of speed, where the Hancock lost control of his vehicle on the hill, entered the west ditch and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its roof. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not ejected. Hancock was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
