LANGDON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Post 25 was back in action on Wednesday, taking on the Red Sox of Langdon in a non-district game. Some rain moved through the area about an hour before the start of the game, but it didn’t stop the action and things got started right at 5:30pm. The Red Sox put up seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and never looked back as they cruise to a 13-2 victory over Carrington, winning by 10-run rule in the seventh. The game was scheduled for nine innings. Carrington Post 25 is now 4-3 overall, Langdon is 7-4 overall.

Gage Goodman worked a complete game victory on the mound for the Red Sox, two earned runs, 10 strikeouts, two walks and seven hits. Grady Shipman took the loss, working four innings. Hudson Schmitz came in and worked the last two. At the plate, Mason Romfo was 3-for-5 and knocked in three runs.
