VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After 32 years in law enforcement and 25 years with the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Dan Anderson is stepping down as a full-time officer.
Barnes County Commission Vicky Lovell said Dan’s helpfulness and professionalism will be greatly missed.
Dan Anderson said his father, who was a police officer with the Valley City police department, give him some good advice before he started his career as peace officer.
Anderson’s son works as a police officer in Watford City, North Dakota, so with his son, Anderson said the family has served for three generations in law enforcement.
