VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Cade Powers has been awarded the Valley City Education Association Scholarship in the amount of $500.

VCEA spokesman Matt Nielson said this scholarship is for Valley City High School graduates that are pursuing a degree in education. Cade is majoring in Social Science Education and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2024 from NDSU.

Power’s is on the Football Team and is a FCA Student Leader. He is the son of Matt and Nicole Powers.

Power’s is going into teaching because he said he wants to make a difference in students’ lives. Congratulations on earning the VCEA scholarship.
