If you are from Bismarck, you will know exactly what I mean when I say the beacon is green, and no change foreseen. This would be how I would describe the fishing in North Dakota right now.

For me I have another few days yet on Devils Lake before heading west. Devils Lake has definitely been unreal and you won’t hear me complaining one bit.

However, I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I’m excited to get over to Sakakawea to get in on the action. Lots of fish are being caught from the very far west end, all the way over to the east embankment.

Devils Lake isn’t much different than Sakakawea right now. Fish seem to be biting everywhere you go. On both bodies of water you can pretty much pick the way you like to fish and catch them.

Fish remain relatively shallow on both bodies of water. Follow the wind and it will lead you to the walleyes.

I have a couple openings in late July up on Devils Lake. The 23rd and the 25th to be exact. If you are interested in fishing with me, please get ahold of me!
