TOWER CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Maple Valley School District held a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, June 2nd for a new addition to the school in Tower City.

School board president Joey Bata said supporters of this project helped the school district raise more than a million dollars through donations.

Bata said the National Guard is doing preliminary groundwork thanks to a state program.

He talked about the new addition.

According to Jonas Mickelson of Olaf Anderson Construction, the National Guard is getting the work site ready for construction. The completion of the new school addition is tentatively set for the spring of 2024.
