BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Memorial Day is for honoring military personnel who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Several veteran organizations conducted Military Honors consisting of wreath placement, prayer, gun salute, and taps around the area and across the nation.
The gallery of photos this year, includes ceremonies from Hillside Cemetery and St. Catherine’s Cemetery Memorial Day program and Mass. The two cemeteries are located east of Valley City.
