EGELAND, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 31-year-old Brittney Beck of Cando died following a one vehicle rollover early Saturday morning four miles east of Egeland, North Dakota on May 27th.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said 20-year-old Jayce Thomas of Cando was driving a 2016 Chevy Malibu eastbound on ND Highway 66 in rural Towner County. The driver, crossed the center line and traveled through the westbound lane of traffic, entered the north ditch, and struck a field approach. The vehicle overturned multiple times in the north ditch and caught on fire after coming to final rest facing south in the north ditch.

The passenger, Brittney Beck was fully ejected and pronounced deceased on-scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
