JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NDHP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said two Jamestown teenagers suffered injuries in a crash on Friday, May 26th.

The Highway Patrol said a 17-year-old driving a 2010 Ford Fusion traveling northbound on Highway 281 near the intersection of Highway 46. 18-year-old Aaron Forvilly driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado was on the west side of the intersection of Highway 281 and Highway 46.

The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield to the right of way when traveling eastbound across the intersection. This caused the Ford Fusion to strike the Chevrolet in the front passenger side. The Chevrolet Silverado then entered the Northeast ditch and struck a power line pole coming to rest facing Northeast. The Ford Fusion then came to rest in the Northeast part of the intersection facing Southwest.

Both male drivers were transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center to be treated for their injuries suffered in the crash.
