JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Win streaks of 14 and 15 games came to a close on Thursday night at Trapper Field as Jamestown and West Fargo split its non-conference doubleheader.

GAME ONE: WEST FARGO 29, JAMESTOWN 14

13 runs in the seventh inning helped the Packers produce a final score not totally indicative of how the opener played out. The Packers scored seven runs in the first, but Jamestown battled back to make it 7-6 after two innings. Jada Walter blasted a two run home run in the second inning and Addison Graves hit two homers in the opener, driving in six runs. The two teams combined for 43 runs, 43 hits, and left 21 runners on base.

GAME TWO: JAMESTOWN 13, WEST FARGO 1 (SIX INNINGS)

Makenna Nold set a new career-high with 15 strikeouts and homered twice as the Blue Jays bounced back with a game two victory. As a team, Jamestown homered five times during the second game. Nold provided the game-ending three run home run along with a solo home run in the third. Ella Falk hit a solo home run and Walter and Graves each had two run homers. The Blue Jays scored 13 runs off of 14 hits and didn’t commit an error defensively in game two.

Jamestown (22-8, 14-2) travels to Dickinson on Friday to round out the regular season with a doubleheader against the Midgets.
