VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The bridge over the Sheyenne River at Bjornson Public Golf Course is now over the river.

Valley City Park and Rec Director Tyler Jacobson said the opening of the golf course was delayed following several weeks of high water levels on the Sheyenne River. The river level dropped to 5.45 feet after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers cutback outflow releases from Baldhill dam to 300 cubic feet per second.

The golf course starting accepting tee times on Thursday, May 18th.
