WIMBELDON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Midland Continental Depot featuring the Peggy Lee Museum will be open by appointment this year by calling Carol Peterson at 701-320-1020.

Peterson said we start off the summer season with a Peggy Lee Birthday Party on May 26th from 1PM to 4PM at the Depot Museum. She said we will be serving birthday cake, coffee and lemonade. Our special guest will be entertainer Myron Sommerfeld.

Peggy Lee’s granddaughter, Holly Foster Wells and family will be at the Depot on Thursday June 15th from 1PM to 4PM. Peterson said everyone is invited to come and have walking tacos and visit with Holly and family!

The Depot museum will also be open during the 2023 Wimbledon Steak Nights from 4PM to 7PM. Wimbledon Steak Nights are $15/person. Steak Night’s are from 4PM to 8PM on May 18, June 1st, 15 & 29, July 13 & 27, Aug. 10th & 24, September 7 & 21st.

Meanwhile, the  Wimbledon Community Museum continues reducing their inventory due to the flooding of the building’s basement. Families have until June 30, 2023, to pick up items that they had previously donated to the museum. Call Les Koll at 701-320-4281 to make arrangements.
