SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– Trinity Gregg of the Jimmie softball team was named to the Great Plains Athletic Conference second team as the conference office released its postseason honors on Tuesday.

Gregg hit .326 with one home run and 18 RBI as UJ’s leadoff hitter in 2023. She appeared in 42 games and stole a team-high 14 bases, and tied for the team lead with 47 hits. Gregg also added nine doubles and two triples.

Earning honorable mention honors were Ally BattistoniMackenzie Lefebvre, and Samarah Martinez.

Battistoni tied for the team lead in average at .337 and drove in 20 runs. She had eight doubles, one triple, and one home run in 39 games played. Battistoni led the team with a .993 fielding percentage, making only one error in 139 total chances.

Lefebvre posted a .337 average with 13 doubles, six home runs, 26 RBI, and a slugging percentage of .644, all team highs, while playing in 34 games.

Martinez was one of two Jimmies to play in all 46 games and was the team leader in runs (30) and at bats (156). She tied for the team lead in hits with 47 and hit 11 doubles while driving in 18 runs and batting .301.
