CASS COUNTY, N.D. (CCSO) – A Cass County Deputy attempted to stop a motor vehicle on County Road 17, north of Horace.

The driver of the vehicle, later identified as 32-year-old Christopher Schizzano of Horace, fled from the traffic stop location. The pursuit was terminated for a brief period of time, after he began to drive through a residential area.

Deputies picked up the pursue once Schizzano exited the residential area. Shortly after the pursuit, he stopped his vehicle, exited, and led deputies on a foot pursuit. Within five (5) minutes of the initial traffic stop attempt, Schizzano was apprehended by Cass County Deputies. He was transported to the Cass County Jail and held on multiple charges. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

Schizzano is facing Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle and Reckless Endangerment and Driving Under Suspension charges in this case.
