Welcome back everybody to Tuesday night shooting at the trap club range in Valley City. Nice evening all around and the targets proved more and more friendly as the night progressed. The VCSU Trap Team has done quite well at the State College shoot taking 1st Place. Braylen Buns took 2nd overall and Austen Jahnke tied for 5th overall. Very nice. The college team has 15 members and shoots Thursdays at 6 pm if anyone would like to watch them shoot.
The first night of league shooting will be May 30th and run for six weeks. The sign-up sheets are on the board for both team and individual shooters. Individual shooters please contact me (Lewis Legge 701-490-0729) and I will find you a team. All ages are welcome. The most dangerous thing about having a junior shooter on your team is they might outshoot you.
President Chuck Mielke has done a good job purchasing supplies and we’ve been able to keep our prices very reasonable. We are the most economical place to shoot in the state. Family membership is $50, single $30, Juniors $20 and juniors get two rounds free every Tuesday night.
High skeet was Tim Logan with 19. My good friends allowed myself a 24 in trap. I watched Mel Berger jerk his gun to the side of one target just to give me the honor. Shoot well.
