VCSU students earned a total score of 422/500, beating out other competitive teams from around the state. Team members include: Bridger Pulver, Grant Larson, Elijah Brovold, Ashley McKittrick, Austin Juhnke, Kelby Gjovik, Quentin Glueckert, Connor Beck, Braylen Bruns, Jacob Hanson, Logan Heen and Landen Sayler.
“Weather conditions were everything but ideal so the fact that they still performed at that level is certainly something to be very proud of,” VCSU Trap Club Advisor and Associate Professor of Science, Nick Galt, said. “These students have worked hard this season, have grown as a team, and have remained focused.”
VCSU’s Trap Club was formed in 2021 and has almost 20 students participating this year. The group practices at the Valley City Trap Club with the help of Chuck and Sandi Mielke and compete in the USA College Clay Target League.
