JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A grand opening celebration was held on Wednesday at the Eagle Flats Apartment Complex in Jamestown, located at the site of the former Eagles building in downtown Jamestown.
Eagle Flats features 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartment homes located at 211 2nd Ave SW in Jamestown.
The community features 16 project-based vouchers, seven of which are designated for the long-term homeless. The rest of the 33-unit community features low-income housing tax credit units with income limits based on the area’s average median income set-asides.
The community features controlled access entry, a first-level heated parking garage, a fitness center, a community room, and a leasing office. Each apartment home comes with an in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, and available extra storage space on every floor of the building.
MetroPlains Management is managing the property and is located in the on-site leasing office.
“We are excited to see this property open and to address the need for housing in Jamestown. Eagle Flats will help revitalize the downtown area,” said Tammy Burtness, President of MetroPlains Management.
This project cost nearly 11 million dollars to complete.
Right now, there are only 4 units left to rent.
