VALLEY CITY (VCSU) – After a couple year hiatus, the Viking Fish Fry returns this year. The VCSU Booster Board is sponsoring the event which will be held at the Valley City Eagles Club on Wednesday, May 10.

Tickets are $15 and can only be purchased at the door that night. The meal will run from 5-7 p.m. and includes fried fish, potatoes, coleslaw, garlic toast and dessert.

“We want to thank the Valley City Eagles Club for working with us to bring this popular event back to our community,” said Brian Yanish, president of the VCSU Booster Board. “Money raised at the event goes to the VCSU Booster Board, which provides scholarship dollars for VCSU student-athletes.”

The Viking Fish Fry was previously held at the Valley City VFW, which has since closed its doors. The Fish Fry went drive-thru style for a year during the COVID-19 pandemic but will now return to an in-person event May 10 at the Valley City Eagles.
