VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Born in Jefferson City, Mo (1996) was raised in the Kansas City metro area. I played baseball through High School and was a four-time qualifier for the Soap Box Derby World Championships in Akron, OH.

Attended the University of Kansas and finished by degree at Baker University in Baldwin City KS. Majored is Mass Media and graduated in 2020.

While at Baker, I studied under Kansas Association of Broadcasters Hall of Famer Tom Hedrick who was a broadcaster for the Chiefs for Super Bowl 1. In college, I broadcasted KU Basketball Games from Allen Fieldhouse, and was recently a broadcaster for the Junior Women’s Hockey League.

Started my career in Grafton, North Dakota at KXPO Radio in September 2020 as the Sports Director and the voice of the Grafton Spoilers and the Park River Aggies. Moved to Washington, IA to become the News Director KCII Radio in June of 2022 before moving to Valley City, ND in March of 2023.

Edwards is the new voice of the Valley City Hi Liners, and is on KDDR Radio in Oakes from 10am to 1pm as well as KOVC Radio from 3pm to 6pm Monday-Friday.

His favorite teams are the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, the University of Kansas and Baker University.
