VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) First responders have had a busy year.

Valley City Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said crews have responded to nearly 70 rescue calls over the last three months. He said over the last 30 days crews have responded to more than 20 calls.

Magnuson said it’s been a busy five months for first responders, since the first winter storm hit the region back on November 11th of 2022.
