VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Hi-Liner track and field teams participated in the NDSU Indoor event Saturday in Fargo to open the season.

The girls team led the results.  Greta Goven finished runner-up on the 800-meter run with a 2:25.27, a personal record.  Goven was then part of the third-place 3200-meter relay team, teaming with Cadence Fetsch, Brynn Lueck, and Reagan Berg for a 10:13.30 finish.

Berg was third in the 800-meter run, finishing in 2:26.65, also a personal best.  Karina Olson was sixth in the 60-meter dash, finishing in 8.15, a personal record.

The teams are scheduled to run at Concordia Friday.
