The memorial service for Susan Rae Olson, 72, Fingal, North Dakota formerly of Kathryn, North Dakota, will be 2 pm Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City.  Inurnment will be later in the spring in Woodbine Cemetery, Valley City.

Susan Rae Roberg was born December 15, 1950 in Valley City, the daughter of William Spencer and Vivian Lois (Erickson) Roberg.  She attended school in Hasting, ND.  Susan was united in marriage to Jon Wayne Komrosky and they made their home in Valley City were their son, Edwin Jon Komrosky, was born.  Jon Wayne passed away July 14, 1981.  

Susan married Paul Olson and they made their home in Wimbledon, ND.  She later lived in Jamestown, ND, Valley City, and Litchville, ND before making her home in Kathryn, ND.   As her health began to fail she moved to Fingal, ND to live with her son, Ed.

She enjoyed canning and cooking.  She loved cats.  She spent time watching her favorite TV game shows and the Hallmark Channel.  Most importantly, Susan was a very proud and good grandma.  She would light up when she was able to be around them and hold them.

Susan is survived by her son Edwin Jon Komrosky (Jenna Rosenbaum), Fingal; five grandchildren, Breana Burginrud, Tifani Komrosky, Dezirae Rosenbaum, Mathew Rosenbaum and Alice Rosenbaum; three great grandchildren, Caius Pierce, Victoria Pierce and Penelope Pierce; her sisters, Sherry Roberg, Gail Patzner, Jane Christenson all Jamestown and Kristine Ertelt, West Fargo, ND; several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jon; a sister Charlotte Syverson; and a brother Timothy Roberg.
