VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – BIO Girls Valley City will give adolescent girls an opportunity to build their self-confidence.
Local spokeswoman KaSaundra Peterson said BIO Girls is a North Dakota non-profit organization that helps empower adolescent girls through community service to others.
The classes focus on girls who are currently in grade 2nd thru 6th. She said volunteer mentors are need for the 12 week course.
Peterson said the first class will be held Thursday, April 13th at Epworth United Methodist Church in Valley City and held every Thursday thru June.
