JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department wants to make you aware of a high-risk sex offender living within the city.

54-year-old Brian Keith Sternberg was convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child, and child abuse in October of 2000 in Cass County. He raped a pre-teen girl, encouraged another adult to have sex with her, and forced a young boy to have sex with her. He also forced a young boy to eat his own feces.

He was also convicted of corruption/solicitation of a minor in 1992 in Cass County. He went to a friend’s house to collect $20 his friend owed him. When she wasn’t home, Sternberg had intercourse with his friend’s 17-year-old daughter.

Sternberg has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Sternberg is currently homeless and living in his blue 1992 Ford F-150.
