VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public School Board accepted the resignation for Dan Larson during a special school board meeting on March 8th.

Larson has been the junior high principal since 2010 and will become the new superintendent at Maple Valley Public Schools beginning in July 2023.

Superintendent Josh Johnson thanked Mr. Larson for his commitment, hard work, and contributions to our students, staff, and school district for the past 13 years.

Johnson said a search for a new 7-12 Assistant Principal for the 2023-2024 school year will begin in the next few days. He said we look forward to announcing this new hire around mid-April.
