VALLEY CITY, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown High School senior Brooks Roaldson was named to the 2023 all-state hockey team, voted on by the North Dakota High School Coaches Association.

Roaldson and the Blue Jays finished sixth at the state tournament this year. Roaldson tied for 10th in the state in points scored this year with 44. He scored 18 goals and had 26 assists, including a five point game in the West Region Tournament.

Mikey Coleman of Grand Forks Red River was named the POWERade Outstanding Senior Athlete and Red River head coach Tim Skarperud was the Subway Coach of the Year.
