VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 86th annual North Dakota Winter Show will be held March 7th thru March 12th in Valley City.

Manager Brandee Moore said the Chili Cook-off and Ice Cream Social will be held Tuesday, March 7th at 6pm in the main arena. $2 admission includes chili tasting and voting for your favorite chili. She talked about how teams can get signed up for the Chili Cook-off.

She said other fun events include “Senior Dance Day” on Tuesday, March 7th from 10am to 3pm in the Valley City Eagles Club. Tickets are $10. Music by “Restless Leg Syndrome.”

The North Dakota Winter Show Ladies Luncheon features guest speaker Calli Thone on Thursday, March 9th in the Valley City Eagles Club at 12:30pm.

Brandee Moore said Calli Thone’s topic will be Agricultural Resiliency and Leaving a Legacy.

Advance tickets for the Ladies Luncheon are available at area pharmacies in Valley City, the Valley City Eagles Club and the North Dakota Winter Show office on Winter Show Road in Valley City.
