SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce Mason Walters as the GPAC Player of the Week for contests played February 20-26, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Walters, a senior from Jamestown, North Dakota, recorded back-to-back 30-point games to help the 11th-ranked Jimmies advance to Tuesday’s GPAC championship game. He made 13-of-15 shots on the way to 33 points in a 95-77 semifinal win over Concordia.

UJ (25-5) hosts Dordt (Iowa) (24-6) Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the GPAC championship game.
