JAMESTOWN, N.D. (UJ) – University of Jamestown’s Booster Club announced that it is accepting nomination for their Athletic Hall of Fame. Nominations are open for individual athletes and teams, as well as for the Rollie Greeno Award and the Jim Clark Award.
UJ’s Athletic Hall of Fame honors coaches, stand-out athletes, distinguished graduates and athletic supporters of the University of Jamestown who made significant contributions to the University’s mission, as well as the athletic department.
The Rollie Greeno Award was established in 1994 to honor former UJ coach Greeno’s many years of dedicated service as an instructor and coach. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to youth through their careers in the education and/or coaching professions.
The Jim Clark Award for outstanding commitment to character driven, servant leadership was established in 2017 to honor UJ’s long-time track and cross-country coach Clark. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to serving others through their career since leaving the University of Jamestown.
To be considered for induction, an individual must first be nominated. Nominations can be offered by anyone except the person being nominated. Eligibility for induction is open to those who have passed away, as well as those still living.
