VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the past week, the fast-changing weather in our region has created difficult and dangerous travel conditions, especially in the country or open areas.

Superintendent Josh Johnson said this week, there are several chances for additional snow and very strong winds. If this weather pattern continues, we could be facing some school related weather decisions. Please stay tuned for updates and/or changes with our school or activity schedules.

Johnson said please note that our parents will continue to have the authority to keep students at home or dismiss them early, without any consequences related to attendance or grades, if they believe the weather conditions are unsafe for their travel. If this occurs, we respectfully ask that you contact the school offices as soon as possible.

Please stay tuned for more weather-related information and let’s all stay safe this week.
