DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day two of the 2023 Class B Region 4 Girls Basketball tournament was held at the Devils Lake Sports Center on Tuesday night, here are the results:
RV Langdon/Edmore/Munich 59 Four Winds/Minnewaukan 37 (semifinal)
North Prairie 44 New Rockford/Sheyenne 39 (semifinal)
The Cougars took a commanding lead at halftime 25-10 over the Rockets, but the Rockets made a nice comeback in the third quarter outscoring North Prairie 15-7 to cut the gap to seven points heading into the fourth quarter. NR-S kept things interesting as they came within three points a couple of times near the end of the fourth quarter, but some big free throws by the Cougars kept them in the lead and they hold on for the victory and move into the championship Thursday night in their first year of the coop between Rolla and Rolette. Kaiya O’Connor had 11 for the Rockets,, three treys, all in the second half, Ava Peterson added 10. NP was led by Morgan Leas and Jenna Rosinski both with 13. Number three seed NR-S drops to 16-7 overall, number two seed NP improves to 17-6 overall.

730pm – Langdon/Edmore/Munich vs. North Prairie (championship)
