WATFORD CITY, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High School basketball teams wrapped up its road regular season on Saturday afternoon with a sweep of Watford City.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: JAMESTOWN 77, WATFORD CITY 39

In what could be the final time the Wolves and Jays meet for basketball for the foreseeable future, the Blue Jay girls picked up a weekend sweep of Williston and Watford City. Ella and Katie Falk combined for 47 of the 77 Jamestown points on 21-for-29 shooting from the floor. Jamestown held Watford City to 16 points in the first half of play. The Jays, 10-10 overall and 9-10 in the WDA, host Mandan to conclude the regular season on Tuesday night.

BOYS BASKETBALL: JAMESTOWN 73, WATFORD CITY 51

Jamestown bounced back after falling to Williston on Friday night with a win over the Wolves to improve to 10-10 overall and 9-10 in the WDA. The Blue Jays also wrap up their regular season on Tuesday night at home against #3 Mandan. It is also senior night from Jerry Meyer Arena.
