The 11th-ranked Jimmie women’s hockey team closed out the regular season with a 2-0 win over No. 13 Lindenwood University Sunday afternoon at Wilson Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emma Strouse scored her seventh goal of the season at 14:51 of the second period to give the Jimmies a 1-0 lead. Kennedy Hauser and Madison Knudson were credited with the assists.
- UJ held on to the one-goal lead until Jaeda Clayton tallied her fourth goal of the year with 38 seconds left, set up by Bethany Wielgosh and Crystal Wale.
- Lilah Drew made 26 saves to earn her first career shutout.
JAMESTOWN GAME NOTES
- Wale and Wielgosh each recorded their team-leading 12th assist. The two are also tied for the lead in goals with nine.
- The Jimmies improved their home record to 3-11, ending an eight-game losing streak at Wilson Arena.
