VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Hi-Liner wrestling team converted four championships in four attempts Saturday at the Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) tournament.

Koltyn Grebel, Tucker Johnson, Koye Grebel, and Broden Muske won individual championships.

Kolytn Grebel won the 113-pound class, with three falls in 39, 27, and 31 seconds respectively, winning the final over Fargo North’s Carlos Salinas.  Grebel is now 43-1 on the season.

Johnson won a thriller in the finals, after recording three falls to get there.  Johnson topped second-seed Owen Magnell of West Fargo 1-0 in the final.  Johnson is now 39-7, and peaking in the second half of the season.

Koye Grebel reached the finals with two falls, and won a finals match 14-1 over Fargo North’s Augustus Maughn for the championship.  Grebel is now 43-2 this season.

Broden Muske improved to 44-3 with three falls for an EDC title, topping West Fargo’s Logan Moore in the final.

Espen Kunze finished third at 145, Alex Roglestad was fourth at 152, Tyson Klabo was sixth at 120, Ryer Muske was seventh at 160, Carder Jewett was seventh at 182, and Scot Rohde was eighth at heavyweight.

The state meet is this weekend at the FargoDome, starting Thursday.
