UPDATE: Mason Walters has been named NAIA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa— Mason Walters of the University of Jamestown is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball player of the week.

Walters averaged a double-double for the week, helping the 11th-ranked Jimmies to three win. He averaged 26 points and 10.3 rebounds and shot 66 percent from the field, 46.7 percent from beyond the arc, and was perfect from the charity stripe.

Jamestown (22-3, 14-3 GPAC) is at Morningside (Iowa) on Friday and Briar Cliff (Iowa) on Saturday.
