JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/JRMC) – Patient access clerks are awesome. To help recruit them, JRMC has scheduled an interview blitz for Monday, Jan. 30.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves helping and healing people,” said Patient Access Manager Victoria Rangel. “If you’ve ever considered a career in healthcare, this is a great place to start. It’s a rewarding career with opportunities to advance and grow. Catch ‘Awesomeitis’ at JRMC and join the legendary team.”
Patient access clerks are the first to welcome employees, guests and patients to JRMC. Their role is to help individuals register for care, navigate the building and record payments. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour and sign-on bonuses are available.
Labor challenges impact all industries, including healthcare, said JRMC President & CEO Mike Delfs. The interview blitz is JRMC’s effort to combat the labor shortage and encourage individuals to choose the hospital as a place to build a career.
“Our teams continue to offer legendary care. This interview blitz helps support them,” he said. “JRMC is an award-winning organization – both as a place to work and as a place to receive care. We honor and appreciate our teammates here, in every role in the organization.”
Modern Healthcare named JRMC a Best Place to Work in 2022, the fifth time since 2017. The National Rural Health Association named JRMC a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital in 2022, for the third consecutive year.
“Five Best Places to Work awards can’t be wrong,” Rangel said. “Our employees function together to provide excellent care to our patients. We make a great team.”
Employees at JRMC are happy too. Employee satisfaction scores are in the 63rd percentile, compared to other hospitals in the country.
The “Catch Awesomeitis” interview blitz is set for 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 30 in the JRMC Welcome Center.
