MAYVILLE, ND (NewsDakota.com) The Hi-Liner wrestling teams claimed five individual championships at the Storhaug Invitational Tournament in Lisbon held Friday and Saturday.
Koltyn Grebel claimed 113 with four falls in the tournament. Tucker Johnson scored an upset at 132 in the semifinals, upsetting second-ranked Colin Steidler of Bismarck St. Mary’s 6-5, and then claiming the title in a 4-1 decision Chance Burns.
Koye Grebel won 138 with three falls and a technical fall in the finals over Corbin Clifton of Carrington.
Gabby Hannig claimed a title at 105 in girls wrestling with three falls, and Mylee Christianson claimed 130 with two falls.
In boys wrestling, Broden Muske was a runner-up, and in girls wrestling, Deegan Kirschenmann was a runner-up.
Koye Grebel joined Boeden Greenley as a co-Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
