VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  If the Hi-Liner wrestling team is to qualify for the state dual tournament this season, tonight is pivotal.

West Fargo Sheyenne, unbeaten in league duals and ranked as one of the top teams in the Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) comes to Valley City tonight.

Valley City dropped an early dual with Fargo Davies, and also suffered a loss to Grand Forks Central, leaving them 3-2 in league action.  Sheyenne, along with West Fargo, are both unbeaten.  The Hi-Liners must finish in the top four in the league standings in the regular season to qualify for the state dual tournament.

The dual is part of a triangular for the Hi-Liners, with the first action for Valley City against Grand Forks Red River in a dual the Hi-Liners will be heavily favored in .  Sheyenne will also dual Red River in Valley City today.

Girls wrestling will also be on the mat tonight, with Valley City facing West Fargo United.  That dual will be at 7:00 PM, with the Sheyenne-Valley City boys dual to follow.
