JAMESTOWN/BISMARCK, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown High School basketball, wrestling, and gymnastics were all in action this past weekend. Here are your results:

GIRLS BASKETBALL: JAMESTOWN 97, WATFORD CITY 44

The Blue Jay girls won its fourth consecutive game on Saturday afternoon in a blowout over Watford City. Ella Falk paced Jamestown with 20 points and seven assists. Bre Oettle and Teagan Bosche each ended the game in double figures as Oettle had 14 points and Bosche added 12. Jamestown shot 57% from the floor as a team and scored 50 points in the paint. The Jays (6-3, 5-3) host Bismarck St. Mary’s on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. BOYS BASKETBALL: JAMESTOWN 93, WATFORD CITY 66

Jamestown’s boys basketball team snapped a two-game losing skid on Saturday with a dominant win over the Wolves. The Jays outscored Watford City 51-30 in the first half and had four players finish the game in double figures. Thomas Newman led Jamestown with 20 points, Noah Meissner and Dalton Lamp had 17, and Payton Hochhalter added 16. Jamestown was 11-for-28 from long range, led by Ryan Larson who went 3-for-5. The Blue Jays (5-4, 4-4) travel to Bismarck on Tuesday night to face St. Mary’s.

Jamestown’s boys wrestling team went 2-1 this past weekend, including the teams first ever dual victory over Century in Bismarck. Jackson Walters collected his 100th career victory on Friday night. The Jays, now 7-5 overall this season and 4-3 in the West Region, host St. Mary’s at 7:00 PM on Thursday night. GIRLS WRESTLING: JAMESTOWN 42, CENTURY 30

The Blue Jay girls picked up their first conference dual victory of the year on Friday night in Bismarck with a win over Century. Final results were still unavailable at the time of posting. Jamestown is back in action Saturday afternoon in the Lisbon Storhaug Tournament.

GYMNASTICS: JAMESTOWN THIRD AT BISMARCK ZIEGLER MEET

Emma Hillerud’s sixth place total in the all-around helped lead the Jamestown gymnastics team to a third place finish in Bismarck this weekend. Julia Skari ended just behind Hillerud in seventh with her top performance coming on the vault (9.200 – third).
